Green Homeland – My School is a Remedy for the Future

The “Green Homeland – My School is a Remedy for the Future” initiative is a national environmental awareness and sustainability education movement implemented across all schools in Türkiye during the 2025–2026 academic year. Developed within the framework of the Türkiye Century Education Model, the initiative promotes nature-based learning, environmental literacy, and sustainable living habits through thematic school activities.
The programme introduces monthly environmental themes such as biodiversity, climate change, water efficiency, ecological agriculture, and zero waste. Schools organise interdisciplinary classroom and outdoor activities integrating science, mathematics, sustainability, and environmental education through experiential learning approaches
