Bravo Schools

Short description
Bravo Schools is a national initiative that promotes and recognises school-based projects aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals. Schools design and implement interdisciplinary activities addressing environmental protection, sustainability and social responsibility. The initiative provides a platform for sharing good practices and encourages collaboration among students, teachers and local communities. It is highly relevant for ECOTEACH because it demonstrates how environment-based learning can be implemented through real-life actions that integrate science, mathematics and civic engagement. Bravo Schools is particularly suitable for disadvantaged contexts, as it promotes low-cost, community-based activities that rely on student participation rather than specialised resources. It supports inclusive learning by allowing multiple forms of expression, including teamwork, presentations and creative outputs. As a good practice, it offers strong transferability and inspires schools to develop their own sustainability initiatives connected to local environmental challenges.
