Greek Open Digital Maps

The maps.gov.gr is an official digital platform that provides access to interactive maps and geospatial information related to land use, environment and public data in Greece. It allows users to explore real-world spatial information in a simple and accessible way, without requiring advanced technical skills.
The platform is highly relevant for ECOTEACH, as it supports Environment-Based Learning (EBL) by enabling students to investigate real environmental data. Teachers can use it to design activities on topics such as urban development, protected areas and environmental change. It is particularly suitable for secondary education (ages 12–18) and for disadvantaged schools, as it is free, easy to use and supports inquiry-based learning and student engagement.
