The SCAIP Project

The Scaip Project is an initiative focused on providing training to primary schools on how to integrate Nature Based Learning (identified as "a long-term approach to education centred on bringing children outdoors on a regular basis") into local school curriculums. This approach emphasizss regular, long-term outdoor education, involving activities like school gardening, nature walks, and Forest Schools (child-led, play-based learning in natural settings). It is also increasingly integrated into the Irish Primary School Curriculum and Aistear framework.
