EDIA Project – Open Digital Educational Resources

Short description
The EDIA Project (Educational, Digital, Innovative and Open) is an initiative developed by the Spanish National Institute of Educational Technologies and Teacher Training (INTEF). It provides a collection of open digital educational resources designed to support innovative teaching practices across different subjects, including science and mathematics.
The project offers structured learning materials, classroom activities, and digital content that promote active and student-centred learning. Many of the resources are designed to support project-based learning, interdisciplinary approaches, and the integration of digital tools into teaching practices.
In the context of STEM education and Environment-Based Learning (EBL), the EDIA Project provides valuable materials that connect scientific and mathematical concepts with real-world contexts. Teachers can use these resources to design engaging learning experiences that promote inquiry, collaboration, and problem-solving.
This resource is particularly relevant for disadvantaged educational contexts, as it offers free and adaptable materials that can be easily implemented without requiring advanced technological infrastructure. It supports inclusive learning by providing flexible content that can be adapted to different student needs and learning levels.
