TEMA – Our Home is the World

“Our Home is the World” Project was launched in 2018 through the collaboration between the Turkish Ministry of National Education and IKEA Türkiye. The project aims to encourage primary school children to think about sustainability and develop awareness of environmentally friendly habits that can be applied both at home and in classrooms.
The initiative combines classroom-based environmental education, interactive learning materials, and game-based digital activities to support sustainability education for young learners.
The project aims to raise awareness about sustainability among children, promote environmentally friendly daily habits, support experiential and participatory learning, and foster positive attitutdes toward nature and sustainabe lifestyles.
