From Basic Ideas to Basic Sciences

From Basic Ideas to Basic Sciences” is a national educational project in Türkiye designed to increase students’ interest in science, mathematics, and scientific thinking through hands-on, inquiry-based, and interdisciplinary STEM activities. The project focuses on transforming students’ curiosity and creative ideas into scientific exploration processes by connecting theoretical knowledge with practical applications.
The project includes workshops, science experiments, environmental observation activities, mathematics applications, problem-solving tasks, and collaborative STEM projects where students actively participate in learning processes rather than passively receiving information. Through these activities, students develop analytical thinking, creativity, scientific literacy, and inquiry skills while learning how science can be applied to real-life situations and environmental challenges.
