Curriculum: Active Citizen Actions

Short description
The national curriculum for Actions of Active Citizen promotes school-based engagement with local issues, collective action, sustainability and participation. It is highly relevant for ECOTEACH because environment-based learning gains stronger impact when students are encouraged not only to study environmental problems but also to act responsibly within their communities. This document therefore provides an important policy bridge between STEM learning, environmental awareness and civic participation. For disadvantaged schools, it offers a useful strategic frame for designing meaningful activities rooted in local realities and student agency. As a Database resource, it can help teachers connect ECOTEACH activities with officially supported action-oriented learning, strengthening both curricular relevance and the potential for interdisciplinary work involving science, mathematics and real community challenges.
