Aim of the course
This Learning Unit introduces teachers and educators to the principles of Environment-Based Learning (EBL) and their application in STEM education. Learners will explore how familiar places and local environmental issues can help students understand science and mathematics through observation, questioning, measurement and data analysis. By the end of the unit, they will be able to identify opportunities for EBL in their own schools and plan simple, inclusive activities using accessible, low-cost resources, including in disadvantaged settings.
