Aim of the course
This Learning Unit helps teachers and educators connect Environment-Based Learning (EBL) with community engagement and project-based learning. Learners will explore how real environmental challenges in the school and local community can become meaningful STEM projects involving investigation, collaboration and practical action. The course provides accessible strategies for identifying local needs, working with community members, developing learner-led projects and turning evidence into realistic solutions. Particular attention is given to inclusive participation and to projects that can be adapted to disadvantaged, rural and low-resource educational contexts.
